final conflict is a california anarchist street punk/hardcore punk band that formed in 1983. final conflict is regarded as one of the first extreme hardcore punk bands from the los angeles/orange county area. they incorporated a British-style hardcore punk rock at a time when the punk rock scene was at its weakest popularity. their perseverance and dedicated fan base helped spark a los angeles and orange county punk rock revival of sorts during the late 1980s and early 1990s. first lp - ashes to ashes - here

icons of filth - recorded works 82-84
icons of filth were an influential welsh anarcho-punk band that fromed in 1979. icons of filth' started life as mock death in cardiff in 1979, after one year they renamed in atomic filth. within a year the name had been changed to icons of filth'. despite the band's extensive touring and recording schedule, they drifted apart in 1985. they reformed in 2001 and disbanded in 2004 after the unexpected death of its lead singer andrew sewell, known as stiggy smeg.
